Alaskan Visual Artist :: Doris Olsen
Born and raised in Petersburg, Alaska.
As a mommy she loves to make art with her five year old son, Rowan. He is now talking about having his own art shows too.
Many times throughout the year you can find Doris and Rowan exploring the sea shore. Much of her creative inspiration comes from the simple act of taking a walk on the beach, snapping a few pictures, finding small treasures and answering Rowan’s curious questions about the sea & the creatures living in it.
Doris has a graphic design business called Metadesignworks. Her graphic design business includes building web sites and designing print media like business cards, postcards, brochures, etc. With the combination of artistic creativity and diverse software knowledge, Doris is able to create designs that fulfills the specific need for each client.
